9 foot by 9 foot panel over the stairwell. Tromp l'oeil is a french word for 'fool the eye' pronounced 'trump' 'loy'. The technique was perfected in the 18th century by french painters. Adhering to strict rules of lighting, tromp l'oeil can effectively fool its on lookers to thinking the image is three-dimensional, when it is not. Diadoo Studio won an award for this project and can be seen on the Emmy winning Cutters Production show Paint Paper and Crafts.
